Horspath Youth FC
Founded in 1988, Horspath Football Club offers a safe environment for children aged 5-16 to enjoy a kickabout, make new friends and learn a few footballing skills along the way. Everyone enjoys competing, but our ethos is to nurture young talent through fitness and fun in a team environment.
Fitness is one of the key benefits of getting young people involved in playing youth football. Children can start playing football with a junior club from as young as five years old, carrying on all the way into adulthood.
Awarded The FA Standard Charter as a Development Club in 2010, all of our coaches are qualified to a minimum of, level one certificate coaching in football and are all Criminal Record Checked (CRC).
Horspath Youth Football Club’s constitution is in place to clarify how club procedures work. The constitution, together with our clubs Policies and Procedures, are in place to protect our members and ensure that the club runs smoothly. Please download our full constitution for more details.

All participants and visitors to club have the right to feel safe and to be safe. All our members of the club workforce have a duty to keep children safe and to help protect them from abuse or harm.
Good safeguarding practice takes many forms. It is a thread, only occasionally visible, that weaves through all activities that involve children. Please take the time to read our safeguarding policy in more detail.
